Arriving at Strath Creek at 7am to chase a foggy sunrise, I was in for an unpredictable 7 hours. As I arrived I was met with another 15 cars, thinking they were fellow photographers, but turned out many were tourists. Unfortunately the scenery was blanketed with fog and the visibility was less then 30m. I waited and waited as people kept leaving due to the density of the fog as the sunrise was not visible. After a while I decided to put my drone up in the sky to see how much fog there still was and after 100m the drone finally breached the fog and I was met with the sky. looking around with the drone I could see the fog trickling through the trees at least 2km away and so I flew over and used the 6x zoom to capture this image. The way the fog passed through in-between the fog creating layers amongst the woods.
