Spending 5 days in Surfers Paradise on a family getaway, I could not go without taking my drone. I woke up for every sunrise hoping to capture some epic light and on the second sunrise I was blessed. I stayed at the Hilton hotel and I would walk 20min down the coastline and set up my drone above the water looking on from the Langham hotels up towards cavil avenue. This shot was taken on the second morning and the sun broke through the clouds just enough to put on a show and light up all the buildings. It also created a glow and mist on the far buildings. It was a little tricky to capture the shot with the drone as there was quite a bit of wind, and so I had to continually adjust my shutter speed adjusting for the wind and the light simultaneously.
