Corals Dance
While flying over the Great Barrier Reef in a helicopter with the doors open and so much reef to capture. Photographing with the camera looking out of a moving helicopter was very challenging, I had to ensure my camera settings were correct to capture the shot in focus. As the pilot moved to the river mouth of the reef, I zoomed into 70mm on the lens and found two coral reefs just leading into each other which I found to capture my eyes more than anything I saw in the entire reef. Due to the pilot flying quite fast, I only had a few seconds to capture the shot and I was only able to take 2 shots of this composition and by damn am I happy I was able to capture it. Being able to witness the Great Barrier Reef from above was a dream I never new I needed and I urge everyone in Australia to experience it, if they have not already :)
