After hiring a car, I headed to this lake I found doing some research that was only within 30 minutes from Queenstown. The road to was quite astonishing with mountains surrounding you from every side and cows and sheep alongside the roads, it really summed up New Zealand to a tee. Once I arrived at the location, it was a popular camping ground and the people there were just relaxing in joy. This is the emotion I felt walking alongside the lake. Pure serenity and peace with utter excitement on my face to witness such a serene landscape.
