As I arrived in Launceston, Tasmania, I hired a car so I could visit family near Davenport. I decided to head to a waterfall before visiting family, but it didn’t come without its struggles. It took about an hour to get there, but upon arriving a couple of trees had broken and collapsed on the road. I decided to park on the side of the road and walk up and climb over the tree to get to the waterfall track. It was about 20 minutes down to the waterfall and looking from where the lookout was, I really loved the tiny waterfall at the base of where the river was. I found a safe spot along the river and decided to cross the river which got to about knee deep to get to the other side. The water was absolutely freezing and my shoes were soaked, but it was all worth it, as I love the composition I got.
