Leading up to the helicopter flight I was so nervous knowing it was going to be with the doors open. With a fear of heights I was dreading this moment and feeling the pressure of the wind against my body was insane at first and I say at first because shortly after the adrenaline took over and flying over Whitsunday Island showed a perspective like no other. The fear rushed out of me and the excitement took over and soon after I started to realise just how difficult it is to capture images from a moving helicopter. It takes real talent that many have been able to achieve and after circling Hill Inlet twice, I finally came away with a composition I absolutely love. From capturing the arrow peak to the river patterns, you can even see the boats entering the channel and the tourists on the beach. What a moment it was!
